SPSS is a comprehensive statistics package for analyzing data, produced by IBM.
What is the cost?
The University of Victoria is currently licensing SPSS through a shared license agreement with BCNet.
Who can use this software?
- Faculty on UVic-owned computers only
- Staff on UVic-owned computers only
End User License Agreement
The End User License Agreement is presented during the SPSS installation.
Software download
The following PC download is a self-extracting executable file. It can be used to install SPSS directly and does not need to be burned to a CD/DVD first. Please be aware that the download could take several minutes to complete.
- IBM SPSS 29 for Windows - 876 MB (restricted to current faculty and staff only)
- IBM SPSS 29 for MacOS - 853 MB (restricted to current faculty and staff only)

Software Installation and Renewal
