UVic is currently licensed to use Adobe products under an Adobe Campus license agreement. This will enable faculty and staff to use the latest versions of licensed Adobe software on UVic-owned computers.

How do I request or access this service?

Information about Adobe software can be found in the University Systems help centre.

To access Adobe software, contact the Computer Help Desk by submitting a request on our “Request Help Now” page, and including the Adobe software application you require.

UVic is making the Adobe licensed software available through the Adobe Creative Cloud Service to ensure that the delivery of the software is efficient and UVic is able to report on the number of licenses in use. License tracking is required as the total cost of the agreement is directly linked to the number of licenses in use.

To access Adobe software through the Adobe Creative Cloud, UVic will provide your first name, last name and UVic email address to Please be advised that all information disclosed to is stored on servers outside of Canada.

When you use this service, no personal information about you is collected by or for the university, nor does UVic provide any other personal information about you other than what is listed above. The service requires authentication using your NetLink ID and password.

Because the login is redirected to the Login to UVic page, your NetLink ID and password are not shared with; only your first name, last name and UVic email address are shared with UVic only shares this information with for faculty and staff.

What is the cost for this service?

This service is currently funded centrally by the University so there is currently no charge for faculty and staff to use the Adobe software licensed under this agreement. More details about the agreement can be found in the Adobe software licensing FAQ.

When is the service available?

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
