COMPLETED: ouadmin.uvic.ca (Olingo) Terminal Server Service Discontinued On May 3/16 @ 4:00PM

Effective 20 hours ago: The Terminal Services service has been disabled on Olingo. OU Admins, please use the services provided by ouadmin12.uvic.ca instead.

Pending CAB approval, we will discontinue access to the old OU Admin Terminal server (ouadmin.uvic.ca) at 4:00PM on Tuesday, May 3, 2016. This service has been replaced by ouadmin12.uvic.ca and the old server is no longer supported.

PaperCut Outage to delete unused accounts

Effective 1 day from now: We will be deleting all PaperCut accounts that are disabled in Active Directory and have seen no activity in PaperCut for at least 18 months in keeping with our policy posted at http://www.uvic.ca/systems/facilities/printingrepro


All PaperCut printing services will be unavailable for approximately 1.5 hours to facilitate data recovery in case of an issue.

NETS: Power work in EDC2 Thurs May 5 and Fri May 6, 7am

NETS: COSI Switch Removal - EDC2 - Thursday May 5, 7am

Effective 18 hours from now: Network Services will be removing a COSI switch from service on Thursday May 5. The switch is no longer in use and there will be no impact to users.

Work will take place between 7am and 8am.
