The production OUAdmin Remote Desktop server requires maintenance and will also be moved to a new VLAN this Monday, November 19, 2018, beginning at 18:00 PST. The server will be off-line for a duration of up to two hours. This message will be updated when maintenance has been completed.

NETS - Network Maintenance FRA

Network Services will be performing maintenance in the Fraser building at 06:00 on Monday, November 19. There will be a brief outage of voice, data, and wireless services throughout the building, for a period of about 15 minutes, at which point all services should be restored. If there are related questions or concerns, please send them to helpdesk@uvic.ca

EDC1 NetApp cluster network maintenance

Effective 1 day from now: This Wednesday evening between 17:00-19:00 the EDC1 NetApp cluster disk7.comp.uvic.ca will be undergoing network maintenance. While negative impact is not expected there is always an element of risk involved with such operations.

CourseSpaces Login Issues

Effective 17 hours ago: *Update 8:30pm* CourseSpaces is continuing to experience slow load times. Systems staff is investigating and we will update this message when more information is available.

***Update: CourseSpaces login issues have been resolved. Users may continue to experience slow load times and University Systems is continuing to look into this.

The Computer Help Desk is receiving reports that CourseSpaces login services are experiencing difficulties. System Administrators are aware of the issue, and are working to resolve it.

This post will be updated when we have more information.

Effective 16 hours ago: **Update: CourseSpaces login issues have been resolved. Users may continue to experience slow load times and University Systems is continuing to look into this.

Technology Integrated Learning has received reports that some users are experiencing issues logging into CourseSpaces. University Systems is aware of this issue and is currently looking into it.
This Informed will be updated once the issue is resolved. Please contact coursespaces@uvic.ca with questions.

NETS: Network Maintenance STA

Effective 2 hours from now: Network services will be performing maintenance in STA on 2018-11-20 at 07:00. There will be a 30-60 minute outage in data, voice, and wireless services in STA as a result of this work.
