Effective 19 hours ago: *UPDATE* This work is now complete

Network Services will be moving power supplies in EDC2 from current connections to permanent PDUs. Equipment connected to these power supplies have redundant connections so there will be no outages.

Work is scheduled to begin at 7:00am and will be completed by 8:00am.

Network services will be upgrading network gear in CLE b319 on 2017-10-18 at 07:15. This work will cause a 30-45 minutes outage in data, voice, and wifi on the 3rd floor of CLE.

Effective 20 hours ago: Network services will be upgrading software on a switch located at FIA-228 at 6:00 AM on October 18, 2017.

Voice, data, and wireless served by the switch will be down while the device upgrades.

Work will be completed by 6:45 AM.

Required service maintenance for the 'remote.uvic.ca' Remote Desktop Services farm will begin Wednesday, October 18, 2017, beginning at 18:00 PDT. Farm-connected users may be logged off at that time. However, logged off users will be able to immediately logon again and will re-connect to another active server of the remote.uvic.ca farm.

All maintenance will be completed by 20:00 PDT. This message will be updated when maintenance is complete.
