About IT Support & Client Services
IT Support & Client Services (ITCS) provides technical support to UVic departments and employees. Our team is committed to delivering reliable and efficient IT services to support the university's academic and research mission.
Desktop Support Services (DSS)
We provide end user technical support for UVic devices and strive to answer all your IT related questions. Our work includes:
- On-site and remote technical assistance
- Hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Management of UVic devices, including deployment and security
- Technology procurement consultation
Desktop Support Services is a subscription service. Contact us if you're interested in premium IT services for your area.
Client Services Tech Shop
We provide in-house expertise for maintaining UVic standard desktop, laptop and classroom technology. Our work includes:
- Audiovisual system design and installation for classrooms and technology-enhanced workspaces
- Working closely with Facilities Management on capital development projects involving technology
- Providing warranty repair for standard Dell and Apple computers
Our electronics technicians can only provide warranty repair services for UVic-owned devices.
