Below is a table that describes which web browsers are officially supported for commonly used UVic's business applications. These applications may also work on other browsers but they are not officially supported. In general, we recommend using an up to date version of Chrome or Firefox. We no longer support Internet Explorer, which had its last major release in 2013 (version 11). Microsoft is now recommending that you use their Edge browser instead, which may already be installed on your PC.

Supported mobile browsers

Mobile browser support varies widely depending on the application, type of mobile device, operating system and browser version. In general, it is recommended that you use an up to date version of Safari on iOS devices and Chrome on Android devices.
