Not sure? Apply as an "Undecided" student

If you're not ready to choose a program, apply to the Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Science or Faculty of Social Sciences to start at UVic as an "Undecided" student. You can take a variety of classes to explore your options, then declare your program after one or more years of full-time study.

Learn more about these faculties and their admission requirements.

Post-graduation work permits

International students can apply for post-graduation work permits (PGWP), allowing them to work in Canada for up to three years after graduation.

If you plan to apply for a PGWP when you graduate, review the Government of Canada's Work in Canada after you graduate requirements to ensure that you'll be eligible for the program.
