All employees at the University of Victoria have the ability to create an email account. UVic email accounts contain the @uvic.ca domain and can be accessed online as well as through email clients. Microsoft Exchange accounts are used for university communications, including email, calendaring, and scheduling.

How do I access this service?

Microsoft Exchange email accounts can be accessed online using the Outlook on the web.  Alternatively, you can use a desktop client. You can find instructions for setting up your Microsoft Exchange account and other support topics in the help centre.

This service is provided free of charge.

When is this service available?

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. You can be informed of service interruptions by subscribing to Informed.
