Microsoft software licensing

UVic is licensed to use Microsoft products under the Microsoft Enrolment for Education Solutions (EES) license agreement.  This license will enable departments, faculty, and staff to remain current with Microsoft software by removing many of the barriers to upgrade to the most current Microsoft software.  This includes the latest versions of Microsoft Windows (provided a Windows license was purchased with the workstation), Microsoft Office for PC and Mac, Microsoft Sharepoint, and Microsoft Exchange.

Details on the products that are licensed under this agreement can be found in the Microsoft software licensing FAQ.
