Software distribution

UVic posesses institutional site licenses for some software titles such as SAS and Maple. Additionally, software included with standard computers purchased through the Technology Solutions Centre is available via our software distribution service.

• Students (depending on software title)

How do I request or access this service?

Visit our help centre to obtain software available via the software distribution service:

• Symantec Endpoint Protection
• Microsoft software

What is the cost for this service?

Digital downloads of software is available for eligible users at no charge.  Eligibility details are available in the help centre.

When is this service available?

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. You can be informed of service interruptions by subscribing to Informed.
