Scheduled server maintenance - Windows servers

Effective 4 days ago: EDIT: A minor configuration change needs to be applied to the logging facilities for Exchange and Sharepoint servers running in production, in order to capture additional logs.

The change will be applied via GPO after 1600h PDT.

Again, no service interruptions are expected.

Several Windows servers will have their logging facilities upgraded over the next two days. A group policy will be applied to provide configuration details, and the upgraded logging program will be installed via script.

Exchange and SharePoint servers located in the primary data centre will be upgraded on Wednesday, 2015 September 30, starting after 1600h PDT.
Exchange and SharePoint servers located in the secondary data centre will be upgraded on Thursday, 2015 October 1, starting after 1600h PDT.

No service interruptions are expected.

PaperCut outage to delete unused accounts

Effective 14 hours ago: The appropriate accounts have been deleted and PaperCut services are back online.

We will be deleting all PaperCut accounts that are disabled in Active Directory and have seen no activity in PaperCut for at least 18 months in keeping with our policy posted at

All PaperCut printing services will be unavailable for approximately one hour to facilitate data recovery in case of an issue.

GEN1P database outage

Effective 22 hours ago: GEN1P database became unavailable on Saturday at 9:06pm. GEN1P database is now available and stable.

Banner system remains unaffected.
