Network services is reloading the concentrator switch in ELW at 7:15 AM August 28. This is to complete software updates on the switch.
Voice, data and wireless will be down during the reload.
Work will be completed by 7:45 AM.

Effective 5 days from now: We will be switching over to a new production PaperCut application server.
All PaperCut services including the online payment application at https://www.uvic.ca/pao will be unavailable for at least two hours during this switchover. In case a rollback to the old server is required PaperCut services may be unavailable for an additional two hours.

Effective 15 hours ago: The update was successful and the service has been moved to a new host.
Please note that the IP for this service has changed and if you are connecting to 184.108.40.206 you need to change your connection information to 220.127.116.11 which is the new IP address for intermapper.comp.uvic.ca. Also any links you have created in maps that reference the old address will not automatically get updated and will need to be updated manually.
The old IP address will be active for another 48 hours while we ensure the new server performs as expected.

We will be performing an upgrade of the InterMapper service on Thursday August 27th at 1600.
There will be an outage of this service for approximately 2 hours while we perform the migration.
For 48 hours after the upgrade, we will be leaving the existing server online; this may result in duplicate alerts being sent. After 48 hours (August, 29th at 1600h) we will turn of the old production service.

There will be a deployment of the IDP tonight at 5:00PM in order to establish a new trust with FluidSurveys. There should only be a brief outage while the servers are restarted.

Effective 46 minutes ago: Network services will be replacing a network switch on the 3rd floor of LIB at 7:00 AM on August 28th.
Voice, data and wireless will be affected while the switch is replaced.
Work will be completed by 8:30 AM.

The Blackboard Transact policy rules will be updated at 20:00 to enable the addition of new merchants to the system. There will be no impact to users.
