Password management

When you set up a NetLink ID or UVic email address, you are required to create a password. If you forget your password, you will be unable to access important UVic resources, such as My page, email, library accounts, and computing systems. Never share your password with anyone, ever, for any reason. If you think your password has been compromised, change your password immediately.

How do I request or access this service?

Visit https://netlink.uvic.ca to change your password. If you have forgotten your password, present a valid piece of photo ID to the Computer Help Desk to have your password reset either in person or over the phone.

What is the cost for this service?

This service is provided free of charge.

When is this service available?

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. You can be informed of service interruptions by subscribing to Informed. The Computer Help Desk is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
