Domain names

University departments, organizations, and employees may qualify for a unique domain name. While most URLs are in the http://web.uvic.ca/example format, employees can request URLs such as http://example.uvic.ca. Eligibility depends on the type of project being undertaken. UVic system administrators can also set up page redirects for URLs.
