Email distribution lists

A distribution list is a group of contacts (email addresses), usually grouped under a single name or address. When you send emails to a distribution list, you're really sending to everyone whose address is included in the list. Mailman is free electronic mailing list software supported by University Systems. Instructors can create a Mailman mailing list for communicating with their students.

Moodle features its own distribution list service. Users can also create distribution lists using Outlook Web Access or email clients, such as Outlook or Entourage.
