A distribution list is a group of contacts (email addresses), usually grouped under a single name or address. When you send emails to a distribution list, you're really sending to everyone whose address is included in the list.

How do I request or access this service?

Distribution lists can be set up through Mailman. Instructors can request a Mailman mailing list for communicating with their students.

Personal distribution lists can be created and managed using Outlook.

Microsoft Teams can be used as a distribution list to email members of a team. Contact the Computer Help Desk to set this up for your team.

What is the cost for this service?

This service is provided free of charge.

When is this service available?

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. You can be informed of service interruptions by subscribing to Informed.
