Provincial Tuition Waiver Program and Learning for Future Grant

The BC Provincial Tuition Waiver Program waives tuition and eligible fees for full-time and part-time post-secondary students who are studying at the undergraduate level and who are current or former youth in care.

The Learning for Future Grant provides an annual grant of $3,500 per program year to assist with additional education related costs that are not covered by the Provincial Tuition Waiver Program (e.g. textbooks, computers, supplies, etc.). All students approved for the Provincial Tuition Waiver Program can be eligible for funding.

Can I also apply for the UVic Youth in Care Tuition Award?

Yes! The UVic Youth in Care Tuition Award can be used for books, supplies and living expenses.
