Exam viewing

After exams are completed, instructors have the option to send paper-based exams to the Office of the Registrar and Enrolment Management (OREM) to be stored for 12 months. At certain times in the year, you can visit the OREM Office to review your marked exams and evaluate your performance.

If your exam was delivered online or was not sent to OREM for storage, you should contact the course instructor.

Exams are securely destroyed after 12 months in accordance with UVic's Records Management Policy.

When and where can I view exams?

Exams can be viewed in Room A109 of the OREM Office (located on the ground floor of the Jamie Cassels Centre) at the scheduled dates and times.

You must provide your ONECard when viewing exams.

Do I need an appointment?

Exams from the most recent academic term are available without appointments.

For older exams, you must book an appointment at least one week in advance. Email exams@uvic.ca to request an appointment, including:

• your full name
• your UVic student number
• the date you want to view your exams (refer to the schedule above)
• the academic terms and course codes for the exams you want to view.

This information will enable us to retrieve your exams from storage before your appointment.

Find your exams

The following paper-based exams from the past 12 months are currently available for viewing.

• Instructors have until the end of the first month of the academic term to provide exams to OREM. This list is updated as exams are added.
• You can get blank copies of some exam questions from Zap Copy to study for future exams.
