High school group tours

Teachers and counsellors can arrange customized tours for groups of high school students (grades 9-12), which may include:

• walking tours of the UVic campus (up to 80 minutes)
• admissions discussions with UVic recruiters
• question-and-answer sessions with current students talking about their experiences at UVic

High school group tours are offered from Monday to Friday, and are not available on statutory holidays.

Teachers and counsellors must arrange these visits at least two weeks in advance, and are encouraged to do so as soon as possible in order to book their preferred dates. All tour bookings are subject to availability.

COVID-19 update

Campus tours have been cancelled through June 2020. Registration remains open for tours in July 2020, but future tours may be cancelled. Tour participants will be notified by email if and when tours are cancelled.

Directions and parking

School buses can drop off and pick up passengers at the front entrance of the University Centre. Complimentary parking is provided in Parking Lot 10 (bus parking is not permitted in any other parking lots).

Note that complimentary parking is available for school buses only. Vans or cars used to transport students and other attendees are subject to standard parking rates, and vehicles parked in unauthorized areas without displaying the proper permits will be ticketed.
