Changes to your bus pass
Starting September 2023, you’ll need to use the BC Transit UMO App or a physical BC Transit card to show proof of payment on city busses. The UVic ONECard will no longer operate as your bus pass.

Flex account
Your flex account can be used at many locations across campus, and you'll save 5% on purchases made at all University Food Services outlets.
Pay with your ONECard at:
- University Food Services outlets—save 5% on all purchases when you pay with your card
- UVic Bookstore
- Student Union Building—food outlets, copy cards at Zap Copy, Subtext, Campus Pharmacy
- Vikes Athletics and Recreation Services—memberships/equipment, tickets, concessions, rock climbing wall
- Printing & photocopying
- Advising Centre
- International Centre for Students
Meal plans
There are several meal plan options to choose from. Pay with your meal plan at any University Food Services outlet, however, eating at the COVE is your option for savings.
