AV staff can deliver, set up, and demonstrate a variety of equipment for in-class use, special events, and conferences. Media Services assists UVic employees with recording lectures and connecting to remote sites through their video conferencing facilities.
The Computer Help Desk provides all clients of the University with a single point of contact to receive assistance with services provided by University Systems.
Desktop Support Services is contracted by departments to provide on-site desktop support to faculty and staff.
It is the responsibility of the General Office to provide internal administrative support to University Systems.
The PMO provides project management support services to all projects in Systems, focusing on delivering world-class project management support to enterprise-wide projects as well as providing portfolio management skills for all projects in University Systems.
UVic's Student Computing Facilities provide computing resources and assistance to UVic students, staff, and faculty with four computing facilities on campus.
UVic Computing Technicians are vendor trained in Apple and Lexmark Printers, Apple and IBM Computers, and various other consumer and commercial audio visual products.
The purpose of the Technology Solutions Centre (TSC) is to provide institutional sales assistance to faculty and staff.
