Educational technologies are the driving force in 21^st century learning.  Audio Visual and Media Services are here to support and enrich your learning environment at UVic.

Responsibilities

Media Services provides a variety of on-campus services including equipment rentals, delivery/set-up/retrieval, event support, demonstrations and tutorials, and classroom technology maintenance. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of customer service and technical support for our clients. We have extensive experience with troubleshooting technical issues, finding technology solutions, setting up PA systems or presentations, and providing support for complex events.

Media Services is available to help you with video recording and production, video on demand file hosting, webcasting, and connecting to remote sites through our videoconferencing facilities.

Our staff

Media Services are staffed by a dedicated team of technicians and analysts. Our staff have a broad range of technical experience and knowledge giving us the ability to answer most of your questions right away or find someone else who is more familiar with your request. Typically, our Casual Media Assistants are UVic students with an interest in audio visual technologies and helping others.
