Be equitable

To account for different advantages and disadvantages and tailor opportunities and support in recognition of these differences.

Example for colleagues

Volunteer to complete a small task for a colleague who has different capacity due to their social location – e.g., a single parent who needs to leave early to go to a parent/teacher interview.

Example for those who lead

Provide appropriate and tailored opportunities to support an employee’s interests and context. Provide equal time mentoring, only adding additional time for those who need support due to their unique circumstances.
