Be flexible

To be adaptable and open to shifting, adapting or changing your ideas and/or approach in recognition of the diversity of those around.

Example for colleagues

One of your colleagues has broken down at work crying; show empathy and care rather than judging them for being ‘emotional’ or ‘unprofessional’.

Example for those who lead

When bringing on a new team member, take the time to get to know them and support them in growing their understanding and skills.
