Waitlist

NOTE: We experienced technical difficulties with the new waitlist which have now been resolved. Students with an active application received an email with updated information. Thank you for understanding.

September 2026:

A new housing waitlist will become active on August 17, 2026. This new waitlist is intended for students who are still interested in on-campus accommodation for the Fall 2026 term. 

Until August 14, we will continue to offer available rooms to students in order of the first-year waitlist, and undergraduate and graduate lotteries. To expedite the room offer process as of August 17, we will only offer rooms to students who have expressed interest in remaining on the new waitlist. 

ALL APPLICANTS will be removed from the current waitlists as of 10 a.m. PDT on Monday, August 17. If you are still interested in on-campus housing after August 17, you must add your name to the new waitlist. 

How the new waitlist works:

  • Updated: The waitlist will be available on Monday, August 17, at 10 a.m. PDT
  • First-year students on the new waitlist will be prioritized for dormitory spaces, ahead of other applicant groups (upper-year undergraduate and graduate)
  • Rooms will be offered in waitlist order as availability allows and cannot be guaranteed. If you receive an offer, you will have 48 hours to accept the offer.
  • This new waitlist will remain in effect from August 17 until late-September.
  • Please note: If you intend to apply for only the Spring 2027 term (January to April 2026) do not add your name to this waitlist. The application for Spring 2027 will open on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 9 a.m. in the Housing Portal.
  • All fall term (Term 1) residence fees must be paid in full prior to moving into residence.
