Coaching Studies (Master of Education)
Our project-oriented Master of Education (MEd) in Coaching Studies will provide you with the skills and scientific knowledge you need to be a more effective coach. The 2-year program is intended for experienced sport coaches and leaders who are interested in advancing their careers.
Course & program structure
As part of the Coaching Studies Program, you'll take courses that help build your knowledge base in sport science, help you become a more evidence-based coach and have you reflect on your coaching effectiveness and practices.
You'll complete a series of required courses over 2 consecutive summer terms (July through early August) on campus. The rest of the program includes online coursework (2 elective courses), a project and co-op work terms.

Co-op education
Coaching studies student Alborz Moulana travelled to Babol, Iran to work as a climbing and rescue coach with Climbing Babol.
