Single & double rooms (with meal plan)
UVic has 21 dormitory buildings (dorms) with a mixture of single and double rooms. Each building has a common lounge with cable TV and microwaves, and centrally located washrooms (a mix of community and/or shared single washrooms) on each floor.
Single and double rooms include a meal plan.
Every single and double room contains the following for each student:
- twin extra-long bed with mattress
- desk
- reading lamp
- desk chair
- closet or wardrobe with drawers
Single rooms
If you live in a single room, you'll have the bedroom to yourself. Single rooms are offered to first-year guarantee and undergraduate students. See a single room layout (PDF).
