Hourly & daily parking
Hourly, daily and weekly parking passes are available for short-term visits. They’re valid in general parking zones. You can use hourly passes in general parking zones and in short-term parking spaces (for up to 90 minutes).
You can also get short-term parking passes (for up to 90 minutes) or monthly parking passes.
Pay for parking
To pay for hourly or daily parking, you can:
- use the parking dispensers (located in every parking lot) and pay with Visa, MasterCard or cash (Canadian only)
- use the HonkMobile app and pay with your iPhone, iPad or Android device
Weekly parking passes are also available from dispensers, but not HonkMobile. Flex 25 passes are available from HonkMobile, but not dispensers.

All UVic parking areas are labelled on our parking map. General, reserved and short-term spaces are colour coded.

Flex 25
Flex 25 is a bundle of 25 daily passes. Use them whenever you need them. They never expire.
Buy your Flex 25 using the Honk app. You'll receive a code that you can use to redeem your daily passes at a parking dispenser. Flex 25 passes are valid in any general space.
EV parking
Charging costs for EV chargers are in addition to these regular hourly fees.
Special event parking passes
If you’re hosting an event at UVic, we can help you with parking. We can set up parking coupon codes for your event to offer your guests complimentary parking. We need 2 weeks’ advance notice to set this up.
To make the process as smooth as possible, you should involve us during the early planning stages.
