Emergency services
In case of emergency:
- call 9-1-1 first,
- then call Campus Security at 250-721-7599.
If you're able, tell the 9-1-1 dispatcher your building name, building number, and room number. Campus Security can provide emergency first aid and help emergency crews find you.

Location
Our office is in the Campus Security building, next to the main bus loop. The foyer of the building is a secure SafeHaven and is open 24/7.
Direct dial phones
Direct Dial phones connect you straight to a UVic security officer. They are free and easy to use. You don't need to know the number for Campus Security.
Direct Dial phones have a red and white Security sign and a phone with a button labelled Security. Press the Security button and you’ll be connected immediately for assistance or to request a SafeWalk.
