Service level agreements

We partner on projects beyond credit courses, including non-credit courses, training modules, and specialized programs. Through a Service Level Agreement (SLA), project scope, roles, timelines, and expectations are clearly defined. Services may include project planning, course or program design, content editing, enrollment support, and learning technology integration. Projects begin with a complimentary consultation and needs analysis, with services typically billed at approximately $75 per hour. Contact us to arrange a complimentary consultation and needs analysis.

 Frequently asked questions

An SLA is typically required for UVic staff, units, or teams developing non‑credit training, courses, or programs who need complex instructional design, development, or learning technology support from LTI.

Usually no. General consultation and support for credit‑based courses is part of LTI’s mandate and does not require an SLA. An SLA may be needed if support goes beyond consultation and involves significant development work.

Examples include full course or program design, major course revisions, content development, enrollment and large‑scale learner management, and integration or configuration of UVic learning technologies for non‑credit offerings.
