Credits
Credits at NUS:
- Part-time option: minimum of 12 units at NUS
- Full-time option: 20 unit at NUS
Course Evaluations at UVic:
- Once accepted, UVic exchange students will be able to submit NUS courses to UVic for evaluation. The results will indicate how many UVic units each NUS course is worth, as well as the course equivalency.
- This evaluation process opens in late September for Spring exchange terms and in late March for Fall exchange terms. Evaluations take 4-6 weeks for results to be made available.
- Course evaluations results are tentative until the end of the exchange term, when a final evaluation is conducted by UVic Records using your NUS transcript, and the results are applied to your UVic transcript.

Medical Insurance, Immigration & Fees
Medical Insurance:
- Medical insurance via NUS is mandatory for all exchange students.
- Coverage details and costs are available on NUS's medical insurance page.
Student's Pass (STP):
- The STP is required of all students studying at NUS. Once you have been accepted by NUS, they will provided STP application instructions to students. The application involves gathering required documents. Once the STP application is approved, students will be issued an In-Principle Approval Letter for entry to Singapore. Then, once arriving in Singapore, the student will need to have the STP issued through Off-Site Enrolment Sessions offered by NUS Office of the Registrar.
Fees:
- All exchange students must pay miscellaneous student fees to NUS each term:
- Student Services Fee (SSF) (Exchange) -- S$66.44
- Health Service Fee (HSF) -- S$132.50
