Immigration advising

We know support is important for a student’s successful transition to university.

Our international student advisers (ISAs) and immigration specialists (ISs) are regulated immigration practitioners who provide non-academic support and immigration advice for international undergraduate and graduate students.

Temporary measures: Ebola disease

In response to the Ebola outbreak, the Government of Canada has implemented temporary measures for foreign nationals living in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), South Sudan, and Uganda. While these measures are in effect, the immigration documents of foreign nationals living in these countries have been temporarily suspended.

As of July 20, 2026, foreign nationals who have visited the Democratic Republic of the Congo within the past 21 days can’t travel to Canada.

If you are an international student impacted by these measures and need guidance on your study permit and/or travel to Canada, contact an ICS immigration practitioner.
