Reading. Writing. Research.

Strong reading, writing, and research skills are essential to students’ success in university-level classes. That’s why UVic offers classes that allow students to develop these skills while also taking into account individuals’ needs and interests.

Courses we help to deliver meet, prepare students for, or build on the university’s Academic Writing Requirement (AWR), the only requirement all UVic students must fulfill in order to graduate. All AWR-designated courses will give you tools to succeed in a university classroom and beyond.

Our courses include ATWP 135: Academic Reading and Writing and
