Congratulations Biology Honours Students 2024

The formal closing date for applications is Sunday June 23, 2024 and appointments will be determined the week of July 01, 2024. Late applications will be considered until all positions are filled.

Expressions of interest are invited for a sessional assignment for the following Winter Session 2024-25 courses.

April 9 and 10, 2024 The Biology Graduate Symposium is an annual event organized and run by graduate students. Students have the opportunity to present their research to their department, be it a work-in-progress or a published paper. This celebration of the work done by graduate students is open to all, and is an excellent opportunity to learn about research throughout the department.

Dr. Francis Juanes has been awarded the Paz Buttedahl Career Achievement Award from the Confederation of University Faculty Associations of BC.

The NSERC UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT RESEARCH AWARDS (USRA) are intended to stimulate students’ interest in research and to encourage them to consider graduate studies and pursue a career in research.

Self-identified Indigenous students are invited to apply for an exciting opportunity to get research experience in plant science in the Centre for Forest Biology.
