Credits
Credits at Nantes:
- Full-time option: 30 ECTS
- Part-time option: minimum 20 ECTS
Course Evaluations at UVic:
- Once accepted, UVic exchange students will be able to submit Nantes courses to UVic for evaluation. The results will indicate how many UVic units each Nantes course is worth, as well as the course equivalency.
- This evaluation process opens in late September for Spring exchange terms and in late March for Fall exchange terms. Evaluations take 4-6 weeks for results to be made available.
- Course evaluations results are tentative until the end of the exchange term, when a final evaluation is conducted by UVic Records using your Nantes transcript, and the results are applied to your UVic transcript.

- Nantes Université is a partner of Studapart. Studapart is a platform that provides students with the opportunity to rent accommodation for 1 to 24 months.
Immigration, Medical Insurance & Arrival
Visa:
- Students are required to acquire a long-stay visa to study in France for periods longer than 3 months.

Health Insurance:
- Non-European students must, upon arrival, register for the Social Security and National Health Service Coverage.
