University Duisburg Essen

The Department of Sociology has an special exchange agreement with the University of Duisberg-Essen (UDE) in Germany. UVic welcomes incoming exchange students from UDE for an academic exchange (1-2 terms). 

UVic Sociology students take courses in UDE's Global and Transnational Sociology Summer School (June 16 to July 11, 2025) and get credit towards your UVic degree.
