Dr. Stephanie Field is an Assistant Professor. As a community-based researcher, she is passionate about helping people develop physical literacy in aquatic environments and creating opportunities for safe, enjoyable participation in recreation. Her primary research focuses on drowning prevention and water safety initiatives, with an emphasis on collaborating with communities to develop practical, evidence-informed solutions. Stephanie is actively involved in Canadian aquatics and serves as the Public Education Commissioner for the Lifesaving Society Canada.
