To maintain continuity and reduce supply and maintenance costs the university has policies, standards and guidelines related to interior furniture, fixtures and fittings.

The interior furnishings, fittings and finishes policy includes:

  • artwork and displays
  • flooring materials
  • furniture
  • millwork and casework
  • move management
  • paint and wall treatments
  • security safes
  • student lockers
  • task lighting
  • waste and recycling receptacles
  • whiteboards, chalkboards, and tackboards 
  • window treatments

The university also has a signage policy to ensure that all University signage internal and external
conforms to standards, approved usage and locations, and meets all
