CARSA is...

Located along Gabriola Road near the McKinnon Building, the new centre will house the UVic Vikes sports and recreation programs, as well as offices, labs and a machine shop for UVic's CanAssist, with customized technologies, programs and services for people living with disabilities.

CARSA will build on our record as a launching point for high-performance athletes, and will benefit health-conscious individuals and those participating in community sports and recreation.

It is also targeted to achieve the LEED gold standard. Its completion is scheduled for spring 2015.
