CARSA is...

Located along Gabriola Road near the McKinnon Building, the new centre will house the UVic Vikes sports and recreation programs, as well as offices, labs and a machine shop for UVic's CanAssist, with customized technologies, programs and services for people living with disabilities.

CARSA will be an inclusive, one-of-a-kind facility. It will be a home of champions, a resource for the wider community and a place where aspirations can be transformed into achievements.

It is also targeted to achieve the LEED gold standard. Its completion is scheduled for late spring 2015.
