Approved high school courses: Alberta, Northwest Territories and Nunavut

The following high school courses are approved for admission. Check the program requirements to see the courses (including English and math) required by specific faculties and programs.

  • Courses must be five credits each.
  • Two three-credit courses (maximum of one per grade level) may be substituted for a five-credit course. We'll take an average of the two 30-level courses and use it as one grade when we calculate your admission average.
  • French Immersion equivalents of the courses below are also approved.
  • AP, IB and select locally-developed courses numbered 35 will also be considered.
