President’s Fellowship Award Recipients – 2026

Congratulations to Walter Homewood and Claire Wright, who have both been selected to receive a 2026 President’s Fellowship in Research-Enriched Teaching!

This prestigious fellowship supports PhD students and postdoctural fellows in bringing current research directly into the undergraduate classroom. Through funding of up to $10,000, focused pedagogical development and the opportunity to develop and teach an undergraduate course, the fellowship helps emerging scholars build their teaching experience while creating rich, research-focused learning opportunities for UVic students.

We are grateful to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Learning and Teaching Innovation for supporting this work, and we look forward to the research knowledge and experience Walter and Claire will bring to their students!
