The School of Environmental Studies is delighted to see Dr. Gerald Singh and collaborators featured for their work on the Virtual Lab for Environmental Planning, an innovative initiative exploring new ways of approaching climate decision-making.

Supported by donor funding, the lab brings together researchers and students to develop interactive simulations that place human behaviour, uncertainty and creativity at the centre of environmental planning. From wildfire response to emergency preparedness, this work reflects a collaborative and applied approach—one that connects research, learning and real-world challenges in meaningful ways.
