Facilities

Located in the David Turpin Building, we offer graduate students shared office space. PhD students are allocated individual desks, while master’s students share desks through a hot-desking system.

Graduate students have access to the department’s computing facilities, including a Linux computing cluster and workstations or laptops with mathematics and statistics software. UVic’s McPherson Library provides an extensive collection of reference materials.

Students also receive a departmental computer account, access to printers and a fax machine, a PIN for the photocopier, and a departmental mailbox.
