Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC)

UVic Chemistry is a strong supporter of the CIC, with faculty members serving on the Board of Directors. Contact our local section to see upcoming activities on Vancouver Island.

Vancouver Island Regional Science Fair (VIRSF)

VIRSF is held annually at UVic by the Society for the Advancement of Young Scientists (SAYS). 

Science Rendezvous

Science Rendezvous is an annual STEM festival held in Victoria (sponsored by UVic) alongside other cities all around Canada. Our chemistry faculty are regular volunteers and put on fun and interactive events such as science shows for young attendees.
