Grad student space at the library

Looking for a study space?

  • Graduate students have access to a dedicated quiet study area on the 3rd floor of the main library. 
  • The Academic Skills Centre hosts a popular weekly grad writing room in the Learning Commons.
  • Our Tek booths provide a bookable, private space for taking a Zoom meeting or just focusing on your work. More about library study spaces. 

Get creative with your research by exploring our media and maker spaces and audiovisual equipment. Explore 3D printing and laser cutting, record a podcast, or borrow a graphics tablet.

We also have lockers for grad students! 

  • Reserve a locker for one term at a time. 
  • Renew up to five times. 
  • Lockers are 11.25" wide, 15.25" high, and 18" deep. 
  • Visit the Ask Us Desk to get a locker key for the term. 

Awards & fellowships

 The library offers a variety of awards & fellowships to support graduate students whose work engages with library collections and open research practices. Opportunities change from year to year, so check back often!
