Corah (she/her) spent a work term as a marketing and designer co-op with Leadpages, a company that helps businesses build effective websites here in Victoria, BC.
Developing different skills
Corah helped manage multiple social media platforms, created graphics and video content and collaborated with affiliates and influencers for Leadpages' website builder.
"I helped their socials grow and have higher outreach in different categories of consumers," she says.
Learning from mentors
Corah worked closely with her colleagues throughout her work term and found mentorship wherever she could.
"I was able to get to know everyone at the company," she says. "They all have unique backgrounds and give tons of great advice."
She also connected with other co-op students working for the company.
"Here, I am giving a presentation to other co-op students on some of the marketing graphics I have made."
