Hi-Tech Fair
The next Hi-Tech Fair is scheduled for February 2 and 3, 2027. Registration opens on September 9, 2026.
Network with the best and brightest UVic engineering and computer science students at this annual event, happening every February.
You’ll meet students looking for their next co-op work term, along with senior students approaching graduation, and professional master level candidates seeking full-time opportunities.
Student expertise
You can recruit from students who are studying:
- Engineering (Biomedical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical and Software)
- Computer/Data Science
You can also meet students enrolled in Professional Master of Engineering programs:
- Applied Data Science
- Biomedical Systems
- Building Envelopes and Structures
- Industrial Ecology
- Telecommunications & Information Security

UVic Co-op and Career reserves the right to decline registration requests from organizations that our office deems unsuitable for our students.
Exhibitor packages - 2027
Our one-day exhibitor package is $900 + tax and includes:
- 8-foot by 8-foot draped trade show booth, with a 6-foot table and 2 chairs
- electrical outlet and wireless internet access
- continental breakfast, lunch and coffee and tea
- parking passes
- online promotion of your organization on the event website and a link to your organization’s website
- assistance setting up and dismantling your booth
Sponsorship packages - 2027
Event sponsors receive extra promotion and more opportunities to connect with students.
There are 3 levels of sponsorship.
Platinum sponsorship: $2,500 plus tax
- includes one-day exhibitor package ($900+tax value)
- host an information session during the week of the fair
- reserved availability to conduct on-campus interviews during or after the fair
- choose your prime booth location
- your company logo featured on the event promotional materials
- platinum sponsorship identification at your booth
Gold sponsorship: $2,000 plus tax
- includes one-day exhibitor package ($900+tax value)
- choose your prime booth location
- your company logo featured on the event promotional materials
- gold sponsorship identification at your booth
Silver sponsorship: $1,500 plus tax
- includes one-day exhibitor package ($900+tax value)
- your company logo featured on the event promotional materials
- silver sponsorship identification at your booth
Shipping your material
Some exhibitors prefer to ship their company material to campus before the event so that it’s here when the recruiter arrives.
Your material must arrive no sooner than January 25. If you’d like to have your material returned after the fair, label all items and include a completed waybill so our staff can arrange for courier pick-up on Thursday.

Cancellation policy
Exhibitors must provide notice of cancellation by email.
- Cancellations made before or on January 4, 2027 will receive a 100% refund, minus a $50 administration fee.
Cancellations made between January 5 and January 14, 2027 (inclusive) will receive a 50% refund, minus a $50 administration fee.
Cancellations made on or after January 15, 2027 will not receive a refund.
