@hotmail.com Issues

Posted on October 19, 2017 at 08:16:26 pm by wparr@uvic.ca
Effective date: October 19, 2017 at 08:11:00 pm(19 hours ago)

Effective 19 hours ago: Oct 19 @ 13:10

Currently there is an issue with sending email to @hotmail.com recipients from some of UVic outbound mail servers. These outbound mail servers have gotten onto the hotmail block list for sending spam.

UVic Systems is working to remove our mail servers from hotmail's block list

The change that was put in yesterday, will help prevent this from occurring in the future.
