Remark Office OMR
Remark Office OMR is a desktop app used to scan and grade paper-based multiple-choice exams (“bubble sheets”). You can use Remark with any scanner or document camera.
Learning and Teaching Innovation (LTI) has a guide on how to scan bubble sheets using Remark Office OMR. They can also help you design effective assessments using Brightspace, Crowdmark and other digital tools.

UVic has licenses for 125 computers.
Get started with Remark Office OMR
To download the installer, you'll need to sign in with your NetLink ID. You'll also need to be connected to either the Internet on campus or the UVic VPN.
If you’re using a UVic computer, you can:
- install it from Company Portal or Software Center
- contact IT support to have it installed
If you don’t use a Windows computer, you can use generic remote desktop to access Remark Office OMR.
