These rooms are located on the basement level with elevator access from the BEC building lobby. The lobby doors may be locked on weekends, but you can contact Campus Security for access.

What's in this lab

We have three bookable rooms located in the BEC computer lab. These rooms are great for group work, practicing presentations, and remote interviews.

  • BEC 174 and BEC 176 seat up to 8 people.
  • BEC 188 seats up to 10 people.

All three rooms have the same equipment:

  • 40” wall display with connections for laptops
  • Desktop computer with wireless keyboard and mouse
  • Webcam
  • Whiteboard

Printing is available in black-and-white and colour.

The software installed in these rooms can change throughout the semester.

    Booking

    • You must be a current UVic student to book this space
    • Student project rooms are available on a first-come-first-serve basis
    • Bookings for this space are managed through MS Bookings
    • Food and beverages are not permitted
