Community
Mustard Seed & Multifaith Centre Food Share Program
This food share program provides food for UVic students through the Multifaith Centre.
Program runs Monday-Friday 8:30AM-12:00PM & 1:00-4:30PM
Heart to Heart
Conferring with a spiritual counsellor in the Christian tradition available for fresh insight on challenges you may be facing.
Program runs daily Monday to Friday 8:30-11:00AM.
Fostering Community through Conversation
A small group meeting once a week to learn how to have effective conversations with anyone on campus and beyond.
Program runs weekly Tuesday 3:30-4:30PM.
Craft Night
A relaxed, inclusive space where anyone can explore art in their own way—together.
Program runs September 16 & 30, October 14 & 28, November 25 3:30-5:20PM.
Belonging Dinner: Cook. Taste. Connect.
A holistic, communal cooking experience blending mindful practices with the comfort of cultural foods to soothe homesickness.
Program runs weekly Wednesday 2:30-4:00PM.
Pet Café
Visit Pet Café for cuddles with therapy dogs while enjoying free coffee, tea, and cookies.

Voices in Motion
Do you love to sing? Do feel energized by being in a multigenerational environment?
Program runs weekly Friday 10:30AM-12:00PM | Sunday 1:45-3:00PM.
Soulful Spaces
Weekly, student-led discussions that explore personal & social issues through a spiritual lens. Discussions 4:45 to 6pm, followed by free dinner.
Program runs weekly Friday 4:45-6:00PM. Free dinner 6:00-7:00PM.
Common Ground
Monthly guest speaker series exploring transformative ideas and insights for fostering peaceful, sustainable, and thriving communities at both local and global levels. Held on the last Sunday of each month 2 to 3pm followed by refreshments.

Yoga & Meditation
Yoga for Meditation
As the body requires sleep to rest so does your mind. Yoga is a practice that will tone your body and mind towards stability. The Asanas and Breathwork of Yoga can be preparative for meditation and are a mind and body practice.
Program runs weekly Monday 3:30-4:20PM.
Learn to Meditate
Meditation observes the breath, while the mind goes inward with self reflection and thoughtlessness, this has the potential to reduce stress and anxiety, develops inner stillness, increases self-awareness, and opens the heart and mind to presence.
Program runs weekly Monday 4:30-5:20PM.
Zen Buddhist Meditation
Zen Buddhist Meditation is a program designed to teach meditation and experience the practice of Zen Buddhism.
Program runs weekly Tuesday 7:00-8:30PM | Sunday 10:30AM-1:30PM.
Noon Meditation

Meditation Soup Supper is open to participants from the Learn to Meditate program to gather, share ideas, and plan activities.

Spirituality & Faith
Catholic Mass
Come and celebrate the community prayer of the Catholic faith and join us in getting to know one another and build community on campus.
Program runs weekly Tuesday 4:10-5:00PM | Thursday 11:30AM-12:30PM | Saturday 4:00-5:00PM.
Inclusive Christians: Around the Table Campus Communion
Gather for a simple Christian service of prayer, song, scripture, and contemplation. Our worship is centered around a gospel reading for which we take time to discuss and listen to student interpretations of the text. All are welcome. A free simple dinner is provided following the service.

Jewish Study Circle
Find comfort and personal meaning in stories from the Torah and Talmud.
Program runs weekly Wednesday 6:00-7:00PM.
Healing & Prayer Circle in Honour of the Indigenous Children
A Healing & Prayer Circle offering prayers from diverse traditions in remembrance of Indigenous children in Canada and in honor of all children around the world in need of healing, protection, and hope.

Exploring the Hidden Words
Join us for a dynamic group study of The Hidden Words by Bahá’u’lláh—an exploration of timeless spiritual wisdom through the lens of language, culture, and personal reflection.

Friday Prayers
Friday Prayers (Jum’ah) is a time for all Muslims to leave their day-to-day activities for a congregational prayer and sermon (Khutbah).
Program runs weekly Friday 1:00-2:00PM.
Men's Halaqa
Students will have the opportunity to participate and contribute their thoughts to the discussion. Self-reflection will be encouraged during lectures, and students will have an opportunity to form deep relationships with each other.

Ecumenical Bible Study
Gather to discuss Scripture, pray, and nurture ecumenical community with fellow students.

Islamic Lecture for Women (Halaqa)
Islamic Lecture for Women is a weekly program that is dedicated to learning the core principles and practices of Islam.
