Ashli Akins of Mosqoy
Eight years ago, UVic alumna Ashli Akins founded Mosqoy, a grassroots Canadian charity. Although her UVic affiliation is not mentioned, she's featured in the Globe and Mail. Anthropologist and UBC professor Wade Davis nominated Akins, now a PhD student at UBC, for a list of BC innovators. G&M
