Shannon Bowie: In Memoriam

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Shannon on December 19th, 2019. Shannon shone a beacon of light on all who worked at or visited our Centre. As CAPI’s office administrator for a number of years, Shannon personified sociability, always offering a smile, a warm embrace and a follow up to the last conversation you had with her. A true testament to the love, warmth and humour that Shannon brought to life were her many, many friends that she had on campus and beyond. Our lives will be less complete without her.

The university flag was lowered on 26 January 2020 in Shannon's honour.
